GENRE: Suspense Anthology

I am not a big fan of anthologies because I like a story to flow. The authors who wrote this anthology did an amazing job of putting all the pieces together. Although each story was written by a different person the theme and setting remained the same, all centered around a particular medical school. The way this was put together gave the read an omniscient perspective into this cut throat world.

Hooked on You by Jenn Matthews

GENRE: Slow-Burn Lesbian RomanceA well crafted debut novel. The well knitted relationship that forms in this book will leave you as warm as your favorite blanket. Matthews uses hew knowledge of crafts to weave incredibly likeable characters both primary and secondary. It is hard to believe this is a debut novel. Well done!

Kai's Heart (Karst Series Book 1) by Renee MacKenzie

GENRE: Dystopian Lesbian Romance

I absolutely loved this book! The relationship between Kai and Hart is amazing. The action is well paced and the twists keep you interested. It trues is a book about finding yourself and doing what is right. I really am looking forward to reading the second book and continuing the story.

Lucky 7 by Rae D. Magdon

GENRE: Science Fiction, Lesbian Romance

This had an array of complex characters. Not only were the main characters deep and layered but the secondary were as well. If you love science fiction and character driven stories this is a must read. Also some of the sex scenes are kinda hot.

The Belle and the BDOC by Amy Jo Cousins

GENRE: Lesbian Romance

This was a fun romp! It made me wish even more that I had been out in college. The characters weren't overly deep but they were true to their personas.  A nice quickie.

Demon In The Machine by Lise MacTague

GENRE: Lesbian Fantasy, Steampunk, Paranormal

This was an amazing steampunk paranormal adventure with a goodbit of romance thrown in. The characters were well developed and just got better as the story went. The action just kept moving with twists and turns. My only complaint was there was no falling action. It went from climax to resolution. Otherwise it was a magnificant read.

Death In Time (The Extractor Trilogy #3) by Robyn Nyx

GENRE: Lesbian Science Fiction, Time Travel

First off I did not know this was a series. Second it stood fine alone but makes me need to read the first two since the characters were amazing! The action and tone of the story kept me up all night reading. More books to the pile.
