Scorched: A Dry Earth Story by Teresa Shaver

GENRE: YA Dystopian

Not the best by Shaver but still a good read. The characters were developed but not as good as the Standed Series. Still for dystopian fans this is a good speculative read.

The Four Seasons by Heidi Harrison

GENRE: Contemporary Lesbian Romance

The poetic nature of the love story entwined within this book flows just like the music that is so central to the plot. The story flows from season to season developing and growing deeper just as a musical materpiece does with each movement. The idea of soulmates is sometimes over the top but Harrison was able to strike just the right tone that kept it in the realm of possibility.

GENRE: Contemporary Lesbian Romance

Rhavensfyre never fails to create compelling charcters. The interaction between between Chase and Rowan smoothly drove the plot along. Rhavensfyre is one of those authors who has mastered the art of the flawed hero. I will be reading more in this series.

GENRE: Suspense, Lesbian Fiction

This was an amazing quick read with a truly wicked twist. The characters were well developed and Luck kept you guessing until the end. It easily could be made into a full length novel.

Stolen Magic( The Veil Chronicles #3) by May Dawney

GENRE: Fantasy

This is the third installment of The Veil Chronicles. It wasn't as strong as the first two but I think that was the nature of the focus character Viktoria. She was much less likable than the characters in the other books but is a necessary part of the saga. Also it had almost in interlude feeling to it like it was setting up for the climax. The book was well written as always and flowed perfectly. I am patiently waiting on the fourth book.

Take Your Time (A Pine Cone Romance #3) by V.K. Powell

GENRE: Contemporary Lesbian Romance

This was the third intstallment of the Pine Cone Romance written by three different authors. It did not disappoint! The characters continuity between authors was very well done and all the characters were well developed. The way these women fall into romance is sweet and funny at the same time. There is as much humor as romance in these books. The town itself and its inhabitants are a character unto itself and makes youwant to visit. These books would make an incredible television show.
