The A to Z of Girlfriends by Natasha West

GENRE: Lesbian Romance

This was an enjoyable cute read with some cringe worthy moments. But haven't we all had them. The idea of looking back into your past and exploring how you got to where you are is something most of us do. Wondering if we are worthy, definitively.  This was a well written love story with some self-examination going on. Personally, I look back at my path of psychos and I am thankful everyday for where I am.

Proxima Five by Missouri Vaun

GENRE: Lesbian Science/Speculative fiction

This is a dystopian science fiction novel. It started a bit slow but That was all set to develop the story further on. I really enjoyed the concepts and there were interesting twists throughout that I did not see coming. Vaun did a great job of painting a setting that you could really experience.

The Sagittarius (The Arrow of Artemis #3) by K. Aten

GENRE: Lesbian Fiction, Fantasy

This was one of the best endings of a series I have read! A lot of times the author just fizzles in the last book by  Aten kept the best for last. The build up of the characters and the interactions pulled at your emotions throughout the series. I will recommend you read them in order since the main character evolves throughout the whole series. Be prepared to binge.

The Archer (the Arrow of Artemis #2) by K. Aten

GENRE: Lesbian Fiction, Fantasy, Action/Adventure

I immediately read this after Book 1. I loved how Kyri developed and grew with the Amazons. K. Aten's books are very character driven and this helps you get attached to the characters. I do recommend that you read the books in order. Also, do not throw any books across the room or threaten the author. Just read them all.

The Fletcher (The Arrow of Artemis #1) by K. Aten

GENRE: Fantasy, Coming of Age, Lesbian

This was the first book I read by K. Aten and since then I have read almost everything she has written. The characters in The Fletcher were well developed and their personal experiences as well as personalities drove the plot. Needless to say I went on to binge the other two in The Arrow of Artemis series. I have also recommended this book to many of my friends who are fantasy lovers.

Arms Wide Open by Donna Jay

GENRE: Lesbian Romance(Erotic)

This book was relatable on some levels and the making of fantasy on others. An oh my what fantasies they are.[fanning oneself]. The issues of being in a loving but long term relationship are explored in this book. The characters are in mid life. The way the communications open show the importance of that in any relationship. Of course one of their solutions was VERY steamy. I love Jay's insight into relationships.  I will also reiterate THERE IS NOT CHEATING IN THIS BOOK!

Rules of the Road by K. Aten

GENRE: Lesbian Romance

This is not the first book I have read by K. Aten but it is different from her others but in a good way. i love when an author can show diversity. Rules of the Road is a sweet romance with two very likable main characters. How they meet is a modern day romance in the commuting world. I hope Aten keeps writing in different genres because whatever she does is awesome!
