[Beyond the Fortuneteller's Tent] by [Kristy Tate] was a great twist on YA romance. It involves time travel and finding your true love. The adventures and twists make this story different than your typical YA paranormal romance (a genre too filled with vampires). I compared it to the [Outlander] series but PG because I would be disturbed to see my students reading [Galbadon] but would gladly recommend the [Beyond] books.
